can’t wait, can’t wait, can’t wait!!!!

To say “I can’t wait” is an understatement. Next week I’ll be calling about the housing in our area, to see where we stand with qualifying for help on rent(rent around where my husband works is a bit high for what he brings home a month, so rental assistance is the only way we can move out of his parents place.). We plan on moving after the new year, probably end of February. To have some time though for the application process to work it’s way through though, they have given the wait time as much as 6 months and after you get your voucher for your rent, you have 60 days to find an apartment. So I guess, 3 months before we expect to move out we are going to apply and do the waiting game. 

We are hoping to at least get a good portion of our rent covered, because the places closest to my husband’s employer don’t offer any type of paid utilities, so we would have to pay for those also, which even the necessities water, trash, and electric are going to be pretty up there for Texas right now… It’s horrible having to go on government handouts, but we don’t have a lot of family here and we both don’t feel comfortable with daycare… so until our daughter gets old enough to where she goes to school, we are stuck with only one paycheck… and it’s not as much as he used to make. 

BUT!!! We are super excited to finally get out of his parents place, 2 years of living here and bailing them out is enough… ready to move on!!!
